Cut down ego bolt, any advice??

I have cut the back off my stock ego bolt, so its more like the Nexus bolt now.

Do i need to adjust any of the settings now there is less bolt to force back?

Yea i have an everyone said ohh yea leave it, but i used my ego at the last NSPL an it was chopping, so i tried everything, turning down the speed of the halo, much larger bore barrel and tried different paint, still chops quite a bit, so i thought this may be a problem with it.

I'm guessing you need to raise your bolt open time a bit..
