Customs?

€gg

This really is my face...
Ok people I've talked hypothetically about bringing equipment (markers to be more specific) back through customs from the U.S to here. But now is the real deal. Cos, not being a chump, im buying a tonne of equipment from smart parts, U.S, and sending them to my uncle who lives in New York and he'l bring them back here. This saves a **** load as oposed to buying it in England. But he's Irish and I can just see a real pickle of a situation arrising at the airport and having my marker confiscated.

So...to all those people who have got through customs and those who got hosed!..what do you advise he
#says.

#and how many hail mary's should he say?

Your input please.

say nothing....pack it all in a suitcase with a couple of paintball mags in with it and make sure the air sys and bottle are not attached to each other and the gun is not attached to the air sys. take bolt out and barrel off :D or ring the airline if you are still worried and see what they say and also see if you can get it writings what they say.

My priest told me that 5 hail mary's is usually enuff but if you want to walk throught the pearly gates an extra one of your own accord helps your case :D

p.s. never ever defraud customs and excise ;)

remove all original packaging if you are buying it new and leave it in a bin in the states, keep the manuals and the likes seperate from the marker and then like it says above he is just bringing his own marker over to play a few games in the UK.

If it stays in its packaging it is new and you have to pay duty and all that crap on it!

Hope this helps

Good luck

there shouldnt be a problem either way, whether you say anything or not. i know people who have said they were carrying guns, and have been fine, and people who have not said anything and also been fine even when asked to open their bags.
