i really like the colour on that ego, how was it done??

if you get a small paintbrush and your choice of paint colour for higlighting, silver, black, gold whatever, dip your brush in the paint and rub most of it on to a tissue or bit of paper till it looks dry.

then rub the brush over the parts you wish to highlight, and the raised areas will catch paint from the bristles of the brush. repeat as necessary.
