crossfire preset Q

noob question but i'm new to air systems and dont have a manual

got a crossfire 4500psi preset, should the little bit of metal in the fill nipple be free sliding? holding bottle with nipple facing down then the little piece of metal slides down in the fill nipple


sorry if i'm talking crap, but i'm curious

Yes happens on the PMI preset angel air systems too.

Only happens when tank is completely empty, thats what allows your tank to fill through the nipple and then blocks it off to stop all the air flowing back out the way it came.
