Hi guys

I took my Clone VX to the local site as I needed some air for it, so I thought I would chrono the marker.

Basically, the marker was chrono'd at over 500fps.

I tried lowering the velocity, and it wasn't shifting. Then I heard air coming out from the velocity adjuster.

I degassed the gun and stripped the bottom and top works. Cleaned off the lube and re-lubed it. The 008 oring on the adjustment rod thing looks fine (but damn, no replacement) and the inner tiny holding one for the red cap was fine.

Re-assembled everything and it still has the leak from the alan key hole :/

Any ideas?

PS - also fully wound in the velocity, no leak. Turn it out less than 1/4 and it leaks.

Cheers

It's a common leak on Macdev's Gladiator regs from personal experience, remove the velocity adjuster from the bottom works and try popping out and flipping the red reg seat seal also be aware there is also a 6x1 o-ring inside the adjuster where the red seat seal sits it may need replacing as well.

The 6x1 o-rings are the little one's i sent you in the bag with the other o-rings.

Edit....if you need a 008 o-ring lmk and i'll pop one in the post to you.

That 6x1 oring was the problem and not the 008 oring!

I know it is cheeky, but if you have any spare 008's, could you post me a couple? Would pay you, of course!

Want to make sure I have a spare for BoB as I may have mashed the 008 a little :(

Will then order some full rebuild sets from oring monkey, or is there another place? I have the rap4 generic oring kit.

I'll have a look through my spare o-rings i think i have some in there somewhere.
I have your address details so i'll stick a couple in the post.....;)

I usually get my rebuild kits from oringmonky without any problems it's usually a 5 to 7 day delivery time.
