CP direct mount ASA - fitting help?

Hi guys,

I bought this CP direct mount for one of the pumps. Went to fit it last night but can't see how to do it. The 2 screw holes are blocked by the spindle running trough body to pin depressor. Even if I stripped this out and screwed the body onto the grip, then the spindle wouldn't go back in

I had a gloss black one I fitted to another pump (since sold), and that fitted straight on at the time. Either this one' design is different or I'm being a retard? I've attached a few photo's - hope the show the problem.

Anyone got any ideas?

That seems a bit weird as I have one of those and it just screwed straight on.

I never really looked at that and have not had a problem, I will have a look at mine later.

Only other thing is that it could be fooked !!!!!

Yeah I got one here. The screws go all the way through.

I agree with Phils analysis, the technical term for your ASA is fooked.

Spot on ^ but i would have use the term mis-aligned rather than twisted

The plunger inside the ASA is misaligned. The plunger has a groove for the screw holes to pass through.

yup, this happens on mine if i ever take it apart. the rod down the middle just twists just either take it out or find another way to twist if back, its pritty simple really.

Next question..

How do I get this bit undone to re-align spindle? Do I need to make up a tool like a fat screwdriver, with prongs to engage in the slots?
