Just got two questions about air bottles. Is it compressed air that is used in air tanks? And also, would you need some kind of adapter to fill a paintball tank from another air tank? Thanks,
Couple of questions about air bottles

there are two types of gas for paintball tanks:
for starters their is Co2 (thats a liquid, and cant really be used on electronic markers)
then theirs compressed air, a whole new barrel of fun.
Tanks hold different amounts of air, 0.8L, 1.1L and 1.5L.
then there is the pressure they can hold, 3000psi, 4500psi 5000psi (5000psi isnt really needed, as NO one should ever fill to 5000psi)
then theirs is the type of out put the Regulater puts out on the bottle, which is either High pressure, or Low pressure (or adjustable in some case's).
High pressure being 850psi
low pressure being 450psi
how that clears some of it up

Thanks for the reply but thats not really what I was looking for. Its just the only thing I have seen is that it is high pressure air, and I wanted to know if thats the same thing as compressed air? The reason being that the place where my dad works uses compressed air, so, I thought that would be a good source for filling my bottle. And the other thing was, will my bottle connect straight to a larger tank, or would it need some kind of adapter to do this? Does that make more sense?! 
well most compressors that are used in the workplace, wont go upto 3000psi or 4500psi, most workplace compressors have a working pressure of about 500psi, if that.
you can how ever fill paintball tanks from dive tanks, but yes, a specail adaptor is needed (either a din fitting, or a A-clamp fitting), and you've got to be very carefull filling the paintball tank from a dive tank, as the possibilty of flash filling your tank (putting 4500 psi into a paintball tank in the matter of seconds is very very bad, and can lead to failure of either burst disk's, or the tank itself, due to the massive heat created).
my advice, fill at paintball sites only, untill you have enough experiance to fill from other source's

Does the type of tank (the one using to fill from) effect which fill rig I need, or is there just one type? And also, are they expensive?
It wont be me doing the filling, it would be the people who use the tanks so they should know how to do it. I will find out what psi it is.

2. where would you be getting it filled (paintball site , dive shop , somewhere else)?
3. even though they all do the same job so many differant places use differant fill rigs (they all fit standard bottles).
the site i work at uses a fast fill rig which has a big air bottle with twisty knob and purge lever
the site i train at has a slow fill system which is a small twisty nob and you pull the knob out to purge it
and tournys i go to have a inbetweenish speed fill rig with just a handle you push down and it fills when you let go ofhandle it purges automatically.
one thing im going to say if you ever use a fast fill rig be VERY carefull
i had hose ping off and smack me in the face repeatedly abou 10 times ripping my cheek open before i had even realised what had happened.
i personally think the set up is realy bad.
4. one more thing abut bottles make sure yours is in test if its not you wont be allowed to ue it (no proof that it wont go boom)
there you go i think that should be about right feel free to correct me if im wrong about anything

As james has said, there are two types of dive tank outputs. The "DIN" and the "A CLAMP".
Din fitted dive tanks are the current standard and may be on 3000 or 3500, but will definitely be on 4500 dive tanks.
A clamp fitted dive tanks are the old design, and will only be found on the lower pressure tanks 3000 or 3500.
Paintball fill rigs are normally for the DIN dive tanks and are £30 - £70.
