bought a 05 ego and wanting to use it at the next 5man masters. got my air bottle screwed into the oops and there was a small leak straight away from there. cant figure out exactly where its coming from. the o-ring on the screw in bit of the oops looks good. perhaps needs lubing? maybe the macroline is needing replacement . it looks a bit short and perhaps isnt sitting 100% into the elbow things.

the trigger has a bit of bounce on it. the pull is REALLY short. hitting the back of the bottle (classic uk masters ref thing) there is no firing BUT when pulling the trigger in sometimes it fires twice. just wondering on how to adjust it so there is more travel and thus allowing me to fire only once and avoid the refs on field :) looking through the manual it explains alot but im not technical in the slightest. can anyone explain which screw to turn to adjust firing point.

thnx alot. also if i cant sort this then will anyone be able to take a squint at it at the uttoxeter ukM 5man ?

oops leak fixed. put some shocker lube (really small amount) on the o-ring inside the screw bit and pulled out and fully pushed in the macro line. 1 down.. 1 to go :)

You got a star or stock 05 trigger?

The hex nut on the top furthest from the face (the bit you pull) of the trigger adjusts the magnet strength.

Hex nut closest to the blade is pre travel. Adjust this and the length of the pull before the board is activated will change. Screw it in and it will decrease, screw it out it will increase.

Botton hex nut on the blade (if its a star trigger if its stock it will be the only one) adjusts post travel.

Top hex nut on the blade adjusts the spring.

I normaly had the magnet screwed out, 2-3 mm before the activation and 1-2 after & adjust the spring for comfort and to take away any bounce.

You can also use the t-band and t-tol (there called something like that). This lets you fine tune it and is explained well in the manual.

ouch... if lump doesnt mind i'd prefer not to mess and just let him take a look @ uttoxeter. i dont wanna start messing not knowing what im doing and make it worse or adjust it to far. i think its a star trigger. 2 hex nuts in the blade and 2 in the top. its not everytime i pull the trigger and personally couldnt get it to happen but joey armstrong (Jay) was messing and 1 outta 10 pulls fired twice :X

cheers for the reply bob.
