The compressors are like $2700 in the US which is about £1500 over here.

Both items are from different vendors....... but there location of "nice item" is the same.

Just seems a little fishy to me.

I came across what i thought was a dodgy seller on ebay.

It was an ir3 which i beid to £280, it eventually finalised at £460, but the buyer didn'y buy (wierd). So as the second chance system on ebay gives the previous bidder the chance to buy, i had an e-mail to ask me if i was still interested, and to contact the seller.

Question.. Why had it jumped from £280 to £460 on just one bid.

Answer.. The seller got to the point where he felt i had bid enough and was hooked, then put it out of reach of sensible buyers. Only to offer it to me after i had thought it was sold, and hope i would jump at the chance and send payment.

What i said was.. If you send me the goods, i will verify they are in working order and transfer the money directly to your account the same day.
His answer was that he was in a rush as the sale fell through on ebay and could i send payment via western union, he would then send the marker directly to me.

In conclusion i will bid on this compressor and see what happens.

Well, the guy seems genuine enough to me, and i've won the auction for the NYX trix, although i shall be using wither escrow or picking it up personally
