Could anyone with a Dye Throttle 4.5k do me a huge favour :)

Hi all

Just need a wee bit of help....could someone with a dye throttle bottle, please take a pic of the pin part of the reg for me........

Looks like somethings come off mine....but google only has sideways pics so can't see the Pin valve part.

Ah, never occurred to me to go down the youtube route

Both of these seem to be different regs to mine, I've got the silver looking reg. Will try to upload a pic, but my usual camera (with macro) has packed up, so will see what I can manage.

The Tech troubles forum might be your best bet - I run 'Crossfire' regs so not much help there

That pin valve looks a like a schrader style insert. Didn't realise the dye uses that design. None of my own tanks have this type of pin valve fitted. Mine all have to stripped from inside once the bonnet end of the valve has been removed. This manual isn't much help as there's no diagram, but the could be some kind of retaining collar that's dropped out. Perhaps someone on here with an earlier style throttle can check against our photo

There is nothing missing, that is how the early regs looked.

I have the same one and yours looks fine.

Does it have a leak or something ?
