How much does it cost per person to play a leg of the nppl? Including flights, hotel, entry fees etc.

Per person it is flight cost variable but around the £700 mark and that is ball park figures and that would be just staying for the days of the tournament.

breaks down like this..very roughly

Flight £400
Hotel £120
Entry £100
Paint £120

Of course you will need spending money for either paintball goodies or presents or at the very least food. you would of course have to add in transportation costs...car hire or taxi's

The flight is the killer cost, hotels...well really Motels..huge difference in cost between the two can get cheapish as you pay for the room not the number of people in the room like the UK

When we played Miami:

Flight £300

Hotel £200

Entry $1350 for Rookie, $1500 ish for novice up to $1750 for pro

Paint dependent on what you shoot obviously, but it is cheaper in the states than in Europe.

There were lots of hotels for $20 per night though, so you can do it on a smaller budget.

400 quid for a flight is now nonsense. If you get organised early enough, you will always get discounted or cheap flights, direct from the airline.

We got LA return on BA for 254 quid each (direct from BA's website not a special offer), and could've got it even cheaper. The biggest factor now is the time difference and time of work.

mod discount

I think they maybe work on a cycle, flights have a price, but as they get closer they discount to sell off the remaining flights. Obviously this means that if you get in just as they discount for 3-6 months time you can get flights cheap as chips. Tis strange though, as everything to the US for the first part of next year we tried was cheap as chips..
