1) My COPS activating pin is no longer staying up into the breech any ideas how to fix this.

2) Is it worth setting the COPS up i know alot of ballers don't use it?

Cheers Greg

You either need a new COPS rod or a new COPS altogether. One of two things probably happened, either the COPS rod is worn down, or the rod got pushed down into the sensor strip and broke it. If you're using anything less than a HALO B, be it HALO A, Egg2, Revvy, Ricochet, etc., you'd be wise to set COPS up for the speed of your respective loader. The IR3 board is capped at 20 bps, and the HALO B is the only one that feeds faster than that, so it's the only one you should run without COPS.

dr.strangelove. Thanks i have looked and i think that the sensor strip has broken. How do you stop this is you have to squeegee does that not break the strip.

The COPS strip could get broken by a straight shot, could wear out from balls being pushed too hard into the COPS rod (a problem that generally tends only to occur with HALO B's, as they're force feed), you never know. As far as a squeegee goes, use a battle swab for the breach, not a straight shot. If you're using a HALO and that turns out to be the culprit, you can try sanding just a touch off of the COPS rod so that it doesn't push down as far. Talk to WDP or a tech, they should be able to hook you up with a new COPS for not much.

Replace the sensor, they are around £9 and are very easy to change. Like the good doctor says, use a softer squegee, and get a new rod as well.
