Why can i still chop paint on my new IR3 FLY even though the COPS is on? Breaking into a string of only about 10bps i will allmost guarantee that one will chop.

WHY!

And why did they take off the COPS sensitivity option off of the first FLY's?

First Fly's were I think, only COPS 1 and didn't have the sensitivity option. If you have a mem6 board or later (it will say when you first turn it on) you will have COPS2.

COPS2 works like a dream, so either you have **** paint going through it or it may be in the settings... What is your dwell set at?

Were are the bursts happening? If it is down the barrel it is nothing to do with COPS - more likely, crap paint, or poor paint to barrel match.

COPS has always had a sensitivity setting - check the original manuals for the SENS setting - accessed from the live COPS menu. Do you instead mean the extra 3rd setting that came with COPS 2, which I've forgotten the name of at the moment.

As for what is causing the breech bursts:
- is your anti-double ball dirty, the spring too stiff or the part screwed in too tight/loose?
- is your barrel too tight for your paint?
- is your paint consistently sized/shaped?
