okay - going to show my lack of understanding concerning valves here, have a 13ci bottle I want to screw into the ASA on my marker, then connect a larger bottle on my back to the smaller bottle via the fill nipple. Not talking about trying to fill the smaller bottle with the larger, rather trying to make the volume of my air system the total of the two. Will it work our will I die in a rush of HP air and metal?

First of all what are your presures of your tanks the small one on the marker must Not be of a smaller presure rating ....meaning it can not be 3000psi and your large tank 4500. If you they are the same then all you are doing is piggy backing. The tank

But as you going from remote should be ok. Why not just run a remote line with out the small tank?

thanks D rabe - I thought the same at first, but the larger tanks output will be 850psi since it has the reg sat onto of the bottle the air in the remote hose should only be at 850 psi max so the fill pressure of the large bottle shouldn't matter.

However the bit I thought might be a problem is that the fill nipple on the smaller bottle is before the reg on the tank has taken the pressure down to 850 psi, is there a danger of the pressure in the small bottle feeding into the remote through the fill nipple at more than 850 psi when the smaller bottle is full? What i don't want to do is burst the remote line and have it whip across my face!

Or is there a one way valve on the other side of the fill nipple - guessing there must be since when you purge when you've filled the air stays in your bottle...

Lool yep that is correct thinking of a tiggy backing from the fill nipples.
good question I have seen people piggy backing tanks on a scenario field.there remotes didn't explode.

In theory it should not feed back into the remote. But the second bottle will only start to fill the smaller one when pressure in it has dropped below 850psi. Due to higher pressure being needed to open the valve in the feed nipple than what's in the bottle.

Other way of doing it is having a fill nipple on the asa of marker. Some have a blanking plug at side. Fit a remote hose connector to that. Then both bottles are feeding the marker at 850 psi.
