I would just like to take this chance to congratulate my own team.
This has been out first year playing Tourney Ball.
I took a group Of friends, met from various location playing woodsball and we started Team Rampage.
The plan was to play Freekz, but as we all know that collapsed so this forced us to take the next step and enter NSPL Div 4.
In our first event me managed 1st and continued to play great ball, even entering into the new Super5ives series once kitch was up and running.
This year and with the help of Campaign Cup, we have managed to Finish Second in the NSPL, this to me was on its own is fantastic achievement for our first series outting.
This has now been matched by our entry into M5 Campaign Cup, this we entered due to the fact it would be a great experiance for us all.
We started of slow on the saturday drawing one game and winning another 2, but this to my guys was enough just to be there and playing such a great event.
We went into sunday having to play some great teams, little did we know we would end the day on a high, we lost our first game to BZ but then managed to shake ourselfs, reform and take the next 4 wins.
With this and a quick run to the scores tent, Wendy then confirmed to us you guys will now play in the plays offs in Group B.
This i can assure you was a sight to see, grown men hugging and shouting come on, we grabbed a couple more boxes of silver and headed back to where we had just left , FIELD 3..
There we gathered to play
Ratz
JCS Academy
Rampage.
Our first game was against JCS, We headed out on the field with a positive spring in our step only to take the win, one more team in our way Ratz
.. These guys were reved up to go as to the beating we had given them to get there.
I would say it was skill that got them the win against us, sadly a gun tamper 1 4 1 off the break and another 1 4 1 within the first few seconds of the game cost us badly.. Damn French Refs not hearing me call for a time out.
We ended up taking third though, it all came down to ED as all three teams had won one game each..
So to stand up there in front of probably many a famous player and take Third Place in Group B, can only be described as an awsome feeling..
Well done to all my guys, Roll on 2010..
