As Flashpoint was my first ever scenario day it was great and I can only echo the words of my teammates and other players and say thank you to Holmbush for allowing us use of the site and to Spike, Eddie and Ian for doing a lot of hard work.

A few other personal thank you's:

To Apoc, for helping with my gun, AGAIN!

To The Scottish Warriors for some excellant play and banter.

To all the other players who made a good day great and marshalling in the afternoon easy.

Best bit:

Riding in the back of the Blue van to go and attack the Castle field - a big laugh

When Spike's finished his lie down I'll ask him when the next one is - cannot wait!! :D

For those that have read this before elsewhere I make no apologies for repeating myself - these, for me, are the people that need thanking.

And I, like you dirtydenn, nearly lost some fingers to a thunderflash. Luckily all it did was blow holes in two fingers of my gloves and split a finger nail. Any one know a good manicurist? ;) :D

On behalf of The Wild Geese and Holmbush paintball,I'd like to thank all the players that turned out for this game. You all showed great sportsmanship throughout the day and made mine and the marshall's day far more enjoyable than work.

For those interested, the final score was Blue Team 4100 pts
Red Team 3725 pts........

And finally....Dirty Denn wins a special place in our minds, for the Suicide Bomber charge....You were the true "Action Man" of the day...

See you all next year

Yeah great day had by all. Thanks too all for making it happen.

I saw the 'nade go off in your hands Den, looked painful! Someone else had a Flash Bang go off in his hands. I was standing next to him in the dead box when he lit the fuse and didn't let it go in time. Scared the c**p out of us! plus it ripped through his glove!

Anyway, put me off using them for life!

Cheers again and whens the next one?!?!

That was me!!

OK lets explain something.

As part of the organising team, our remit was to add to the spice of the whole affair, with copious use of flashbangs and smoke.

Your correct I was out, but I signalled to the Marshall on the field, who was Eddie (our Field Captain, played the Mad Russian General) my intentions of throwing the flashbang onto the field. He gave me the OK.

I then struck the flashbangs fuse and BANG, it went off, leaving me with ringing in my ears and a couple of bruised fingers (as well as a knackered pair of gloves) It wasn't that I didnt let go in time, I had no time to throw it!!

Just thought I'd clear that up. :)

Fair enough!!:)

Oh, how are the profits coming in from the Baby Milk Factory? After that last game I feel we should have a rise! Was our mad Russian General a Commisar in a past life? ;)
