Confused! hp or Lp!

hey guys im looking to buy a reg for my dye throttle which is 4500psi 1.1l 71ci
and using it on my DM9 ive never got the grasp of whats the diffrence between Hp and Lp and what i should be buying
if anyone could give me some advice would be much appreciated!

its the output pressure of the regulator

HP tends to be around 800psi

LP around 450psi

DM's will run pefectly fine with either.
