are you sure paintball is for you if you are such a chicken!? :D

The way I got over the fear factor was just to run like a banshee for a couple of games and get shot at loads. All fear/anxiety will be long gone with the rush of adrenalin!!!:D

not sure ill agree with that...no one surely can ever get used to being shot after all it does hurt.

What does matter is making sure you are keeping yourself active in a game and not ****ing it behind a barricade.

So like what little g said make sure you got adrenaline going

nless you have Matrix like reflexes then you won't be able to just 'dodge' paint! Do you mean moving up form bunker to bunker whislt keeping him in? If so good tactic but make sure he hasn';t got cover fire alse you'll be lit up like a christmas tree!

It flies at 300fps and when it hits you it hurts! Eventually you just except it and play the game. I do! Don't think you're chicken because you take cover when you being shot at! I bloody do! But when the fire has stopped I take a quick peek to see if I can see him before he opens up again. If I can then I know where he is and snap shoot.

Or just don't get hit! Can't complain then!!

being scared is natural it will soon go,try and not let yourself get pinned down, move about more using the cover thats there ie use a tree/baricade to block there view then move to another, bring your game to them,if you do get hit it's not as bad as your addrenalin is pumping,it hurts more if your sitting there waiting for it:)

depending on how good your opponent is (im assuming your playing woodsball) you could just keep firing into their bunker while moving up or have somone else keep them pinned down while you move in for the mugging.

Note, this doesnt work on experienced players very often, cos they realise whats going on and pop out the other side under fire to get ye.
