computer help needed

when i type an addy into the address bar i get redirected to the address i typed in but with another site in front. ie type inwww.ebay.co.uk and get

http://ehttp.cc/?www.ebay.co.uk


whats going on??

check your system for viruses or adware, that's that i would do. also when did this start, and did you make any changes to your system?

Spyware

You have inadvertently installed some spyware on your system.
Download spybot from here:
http://www.safer-networking.org/
And run it. Let it remove any spyware it finds.
Then reset the Search Engine.
Open Regedit to the following locations and verify the below default entries:
Start | Run (type) "regedit" (no quotes)
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\URL\DefaultPrefix]@="http://"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\URL\Prefixes]

Not sure if they are correct locations for your os. What version of windows are you using?

Yeah just checking those entires are standard in the registry should do it. But as you say we need to know what windows he has .... win9x, 2k,XP etc.
