Comps in the North West of England?

Find I'm enjoying Sup Air and Hyperball type games more and more often of late (rather than rec-ball type woodland games) and would like to know what competitions there are in and around the North West (anywhere from Manchester to the North and Stafford to the South) of England.

Don't want to go travelling too far a field yet but looking for a bit more competitve play in the region.

Where do you recommend? What's the 'crack' - just phone up and enter a team etc?
