agreed. go with second hand to get started (wish i had!) and save your cash for playing - or spend it on slightly better stuff than you'd get new.
that is a pretty good starter set up tho' and would do you fine for whatever style of ball you want to get into.
if you later decide tourney-style plays your way to go then you can keep the ion and upgrade it, or sell it on and buy something better (again 2nd hand!)
whatever you buy, make sure it runs on air and you buy an air bottle. air is much more consistant, generally easier to get hold of (outwith a recball site), and more marker friendly.
basically choose a budget (with a little give) and shop around here - just use the advanced search and enter what your after and click on the classified for sale section and seach away....
