Apologies if this is address elsewhere, but I could not find it.

Besides using your lungs, do any players use any sort of radio/mike system to communicate with their team during play. If so what Kit is used?

I thought I read somewhere that the Dye Invision goggles had a comms accessory (or where bringing one out for the i4) but I cant find it anywhere and am beginning to think I imagined it.

Any thoughts?

Akril, the use of any communication devices such as the ones you mention is I'm afraid against the rules in tournament play .. you would be able to use them maybe when playing recball or scenario, that is, just playing for fun on some site somewhere mate but in tournament play??

It's a big fat no no ....sorry mate but that's the rules.

There may be some big games somewhere that allow them as well but that's always gonna be down to the event orgnaiser themselves and so you would have to check before you started running around the woods with a satellite-dish hanging out yer ass :)

If you are generally looking for a good comms system to allow team communication then try having a look at the spec ops sites, They have a lash unit (throat mic) which work terribly well and fit quite comfortably. The only expensive part is the radio system, but due to modern tech are quite small and have a rather good range so no need for satellites...lol

the thing you have to remember is that some people are using some frequencys for more important things that just having a natter, and seeing if its time for a break.
At a big game myself and a friend were using radios ( fancy self tuning jobies) and we by accident got on the marshel / main frequency. this is really not good as one of the reasons for staff radios is that if there is an accedent they can get a first aider / ambulance rapidly.
you don't want to be impeding this!
