A while ago, I put up a posting asking you, the tournament players, what you wanted from a tourney. This is what I propose based on e mails and other postings.

Would this be of interest to anyone :-

A two day tournament to be held on a Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday at Skirmish Nottingham.

The Sunday would be a 5 man Sup Air, Hyperball event, the Monday would be a 10 man Sup Air, Hyperball and woodland event.

It would be bring your own paint with co2 and (hopefully) air to 4500 PSI provided.

My boss will probably kill me for proposing this, but this seems to be what the majority of players in the UK are looking for.

If we can get enough interest, it could well happen.

We could arrange hotel accomodation, and maybe even a players party.

At the moment, it is only an idea, but with enough interest, who knows.

Sounds like a fantastic tourney!

That sounds like a pretty dam good tourney (are there prizes for every player, phsycic marshals, free paint, free massages for all players... )

Will there be places to camp as well (for those who can't afford two days of Paintball and a hotel)?

10 man day? Can many teams raise 10 men? I know that we would struggle! 7 man is more typical for round here. Maybe run a 5 man day and then put two 5 man teams together (so if you can raise 10 men you enter two 5 man teams the first day, and if you can't you get another half a team from the same division).

However it turns out is sounds like a great tourney, hope it happens

Yes the supair fields at Nottingham are too small for 7 players never mind 10..

i think ten man would be a problem dude, most teams struggle with the sven man format. it would be interesting though. i have only ever played 7 man and below.

but did i read players party?

i thought you and bully were repeating the may day scramble next year.
there are other bank holidays i suppose.

whats happening with the tournie next week.
i was supposed to be playing with swat at marchbrook cup, but ive heard rumours its off!

10 man would be amazing, and mixing two five man teams would probabily be the way to go for many teams. Hey Ian, if you can't get 10 men you could always mix with us and make Damn Stupid. Sounds good???
