cold weathet effect on ego9

Hello all,

Would the freezing cold weather affect an ego in anyway?

Reason I ask is when in the warm it fires great, but both days I have played in snow it makes a loud venting bang when it shoits instead of the normal POP it usually makes.

The lpr is two turns in from flush with factory settings and set around 280fps.

It certainly affected mine at D10 last week. I went through 2 brand new Procells in one day. Any problems were fixed by a fresh battery.

Was it making a different noise?

It was doing all sorts of strange things. I had 8 balls come out at once. And yes there was the occasional strange noise. Some of that was me swearing.

Well at least I'm not only one I know the cold weather drains any battery but itss more annoying than anything. Thanks nial for the input.

Yepp, my ego 11 did the same about 2 weeks ago whilst playing in sub zero temperatures, did really weird things and sounded alot louder with a bang sound. When in the warm works fine and shoots great.

just glad mines not the only one. i just got it home, fresh battery and in the warmish shed for half hour and it rips again, just glad its not pooped solenoid etc. sodding fair weather guns, almost bad as fair weather ballers haha

Hahaha, yeh I did everything with mine when i got home, i stripped it down completely, changed all oings and popped in a fresh battery...air it up all is good

the walk-on i did in january this year there was a whole bunch of guys with egos and they were all complaining about the same thing .... like double feeding and the loudness!! they were loud!

even my vibe was leaking a bit due to the cold but when you get home and warms up its fine wierd!

Yupp, you can imagine how i get on living up here in 'sunny scotland' with ohhh such warm weather...
