life, the universe and is there any point in electros?

Over the meany years i have been playing (since i was 11), I have used just about every gun out there. And it is my conclusion that there isnt one that has much over that grandaddy of the paintball world,the cocker.......even the stock one.

which makes me rase the question, with new laws banning full auto and selest fire, is there any need to go electro?????

P.S. and anybody who mentions rate of fire should see the eclipse blade cocker, it is fast!!!!

Its about giving the player the choice!
F1 would be pretty boring if everyone had the same car ( I know there are some types of racing that do just that).
I don't think that players should be limited to just the one marker and by making guns electric they have diversified the market.
The cockers are GOOD and fast but my personal preference is an electro, I just prefer it!
Once the companies realise that the markers are going "fast enough" they will again concentrate on acuracy.

The thing is that there are always going to be the people who like the sub-micromilimeter trigger pull and the next to nothing weight of an electro trigger. Then there are always going to be the people who prefer their trigger pull to have a more substantial feel to it (me being one, who has just moved from a Hyper framed shocker (under 1mm trigger pull) to a westwood cocker with blade frame). The advent of electros has just given players more of a choice so they can find the marker setup that best suits them and the way they play.

this is true, and different triggers are for different people. i just feel like the shine has gone off electros. when i started i would have killed for and angel.......then for and lcd (cos of the cool select fire stuff.

so let me if you will, re-issue my question.

Do you think with new laws bla, bla, bla that there is now and huge advantage in electro, or has the playing field been leveled?????

Same here I would have killed for an Angel or any other electro, but now with the limit of shots on electros to 13bps and cockers happily getting to the rate as well (if not more ) the field has definately been leveled.

There is never any "need" to go electro, because if you're a real man (ask your girly ) you can make a semi shoot almost as fast as an electro. Ok, so what you fire 10 or 11 bps instead of 13 bps......I don't think it will make that big a difference in a game. And if you really want to shoot like an electro but don't want one, like everybody says, get a nice cocker with blade frame!

It''s nice to go for a elec but u can't realy go that fast with out chopping a ball but with cockers u dont realy chop well, I dont any way.But as I said is nice to go elec.
