I'll tell you when i know
Ok guys been trying to work it out myself just can't get my head around it

Whats the differance between the cocker's,
For example:
-Nexus Signature Series Eclipseblade Cocker
-Eclipse Pro Series Eclipseblade Cocker 04
-Eclipse Factory Edition Eclipseblade Cocker 04
-Evolution X 2003
-Evolution-X E-Blade
-Evolution-X with Race
-WGP cocker Y2K3

Ok the price i different, but what about performance.
i was playing on Sunday and practicing snap shots on a cocker.
It was mmuch lighter than much LCD. i found it was much easier to use.

would anyone recommend a cocker with E-blade, with a budget for around £600. (Would prefer a new marker than second hand).

Wouldn't mind having something to train for if you know what i mean.

One other thing someone called 'G' was at dorking on Sunday and he had a really small bottle, any one know what it was or where you can get one?

Cockers

Cockers seem to get a bad rep coz they can be complicated to setup to get it just how you want it, and they don't achieve the higher rates of fire that the A4 can for instance, but they are 10 times more accurate and once set-up really rock you're sox off!!

As far as snap shooting is concerned - that's all I do, I don't need to put streams of paint in the air to hit some one, I just need a gap to pop out and Bob's your uncle..

Ask around, they are more accurate and in the long term probably more reliable, but hey I'm biased - I was a first generation Sniper II owner - haven't looked back since..

Oh, and just for the record, I have an Evolution X with a RaceGun grip - AWESOME!!

Keep the faith..

hey tom,
there are different makes of cocker, electric ones (like colins) and cheaper and slower mechanical ones. the more expensive ones are electronic and tend to be faster because the bolt is lighter and have better pneumatics n'shiznit.
they do rock but are probly the most expensive gun.

G has got a 45ci, 4500psi bottle, small and light, good for front players with efficient guns, but they arent used that much cos of how much paint people now shoot.

just play for nexus and you'll get a cheap one;)

My sig shows you what I use
The WGP has been used by a lot of other players and they have been impressed.
For £550 you can get a 2k3 with eblade
for £650 you can get a pro series eclipseblade

collin has the nexus eblade. email collin to ask him to get you some paint for sunday.

did you see the eblade i was using on sunday? the gold to black fade. that costs £600 second hand and it rocks, im sure you could pick a nice one up for that price.

or you could buy a eclipse pro series cocker for 650 which performance wont be quite as good.

its up to you, buy a good new gun or an awsome second hand one.

peace

It might be more consistent, but accuracy is down to balls and barrel match.
I use E-blades, superb markers. But nothing wrong with the angel. And I love my timmy.

You can get a superb E-blade in classifieds for stupidly cheap prices. Go for it.
And I wis people would stop going on about ROF as if it was the only thing that was important.
25 bps............superb. I'll settle for 7 hits a game.

colins is a nexus series cocker. - good thing about cockers, is that generally they tend to work:rolleyes: :) and if they do go wrong they are very simple guns (apart for the electric frames.)
