what is the best cocker to get if you haven't had one before? with a price of about £400-500.

well.. if u go for a brand new cocker, the only 1 really in that price range is the stock cocker, it is a very nice, efficiant marker,
but if u get a second hand cocker, u can probly get and Evolution or even a blade cocker. which r the best cockers u can get for the price, but just try before u buy m8, fire a few cockers.

Your best bet is to look for any classified ads on this board or to ring a few shops around your area and ask if they have any 2nd hand cockers or know of anyone selling a 2nd hand cocker.
