can anyone tell me why the bottom chamber on my cocker is threaded at the back please ?

Also do you have to use a certain 'o' ring for the valve, or can it be any as long as it fits (i ask as i had a black one on the valve that was very very worn and i have found an orange one in the WGP spares kit that fits...can i use this one??)

Also what is the output pressure of the black magic reg. I know the output from the LPR is around the 100psi mark, but what is it coming out of the black magic ?

Cheers

The back is threaded for your velocity adjuster. The WGP O-rings kit is color-coded, there should have been a sticker on the package telling what colors go to what parts, but if the orange ones fit okay, they're probably right. The Black Magic is adjustable from 0 to like 800 psi. Depending on your marker, you'll probably want it at like 500-600 psi

I take it that by the fact i have a rex dialler fitted that explains why it does not seem to serve any purpose then

Unfortunatly there was no colour coding label....i only really bought the kit for the valve tool, but then found that the 'o' ring was ok, but not good enough to put back. I have fitted the orange one now....but am a bit wary about gassing it up....so thought i had better check with people.

Yep, if you have Rex kit then the threaded part is useless.

Don't worry about gassing the thing up, the worst that can happen is the valve will leak and you'll have to put a different one on there.

on the o ring front it's not a sealing/unsealing o-ring its just a permanent sealing one so if it fits then it'll be fine. the ones to watch out for are the ones which are continually sealing/unsealing (i.e. reg seals and things) they have to be correct size and material to make sure they don't laek and let the output pressure creep and work as they should. Ones like that valve one arent too critical on size or material so just bang it in and it should be fine. As previously mentioned the worst that'll happen is that you'll have a leak. not going to blow anything up or anything bad so don't be concerned gassing it up.

there are two orange o-rings in the kit...

1x IVG o-ring
1x Valve Guide o-ring

do what the last poster says and save em.

Not on a cocker you dont, or you'll have major velosity problems.

you want 300 - 400 psi depending on how old the gun is. generaly speaking, the newer the gun the lower the input, so 300 input for a wgp 02 gun ect.

you prob want to run 500- 800 psi into the BM reg.

o, and the orange o-ring will be fine.
