Hey all you pballin' homie G's out there. Actually, I was just lookin for some techs, but anyway

I'm fixin' up this 97 cocker that was beat to he!!, and I've got all the parts in, it's all timed, no leaks, both regs are adjusted, and everything would be working fine, except the trigger sticks. When you pull it back, the marker fires and the back block blows back, but then it just stays in the back position, the trigger won't spring forward. I've tried all manner of trigger springs, nothing works. If you manually pull the trigger back into the forward position, the back block returns to the forward position and the marker is ready to cycle again, but I can't figure out for the life of me why it's sticking like that. Let's see if any of you can figure it out.

You must have misunderstood me, I was looking for techs who could help me with my problem, not guys who post "dork" whose usernames are taken from alchoholic beverages. Anyone with any USEFUL information, please stand up

Cocker trigger can stick when the LPR is adjusted to high because the pressure to the 3-way is too high for it to return. Or are you sure it's timed ok? Since this also happens when the the acutating rod is screwed to far in ( or out depend if its a hinge trigger or not) basically the 3 ways is completing the full cycle and stopping cocking phase.

Alternatively is it the trigger shoe sticking or if its a sliding trigger has it got the grub screws under the trigger and have they tightened up?

Hope that helps!

Unscrew yor trigger frame & remove the arm out of the trigger plate,re-assembly,does the trigger now return on its own ?,if it does it now tells you its not the trigger. If not have you got guide screws too tight on the trigger plate ?.:) :) :)

this is just a quick suggestion, but could be all bull. could it be that the 3way is making it stick. as in it wont return as the o-rings are to stiff, no lubed. im not sure. as if this were the case, you could b getting leaks from the 3 way. anyway, worth a try.

Ive had problems with this before
What 3 way have you got on it?
Old, tired, or dirty o rings on the 3 way rod can cause it to stick.
Also, if there is an adjustment screw underneath the trigger to reduce wobble. if thats too tight the marker will also stick.
Its damn hard to check LPR pressure, but try winding it down a bit, with fresh orings on the 3 way rod. you may find that works.

The trigger works perfectly fine when you remove it from the marker. I have a polished stock three way off my 2k1 on it, and the shaft goes in and out smooth as butter. The LPR is adjusted REALLY low, it is just enough to recock the marker.

Something else I forgot to mention (and something I just realized) is that this only happens when the marker is gassed up. When it's not gassed up, the trigger pulls back and springs forward easily.
