Cocker trigger frame on an automag????

Hello,

I'm currently scouring the earth for a new or used trigger frame for a mates Automag.

I think i've been to every blinkin website from here to California and i'm having trouble sourcing something for a reasonable price.

A little bird tells me that a cocker trigger frame (which are far more in abundance second hand)will fit an automag?

Rather than take my cocker to bits and try it,does anybody know if this is cobblers or not?

Don't think a mech cocker frame will work on a mag. The sear/trigger assembly works differently. The Mag's rod linked sear pivots to push up on the on/off valve & release bolt, where as the sprung cocker sear hinges down to release the hammer lug.

I've seen mags with Eblade frames on electro/mech DIY builds, but that's not what your after by the sound of it? The AGD intelliframe is a straight swap and sometimes come up on ebay, as do others like Benchmark, 32 degrees and ANS. Some other frames can be made to fit but often need extensive mods.

Totally,i've already been in touch with the guy to try and blag a quick sale but he's having none of it!

I'l have to wait like the cunning fox to bag it.4 days left.Groaaaan.

Yeah man I can remember when it was either a mag,or a cocker.The days of remote CO2 and anti syphon tanks and Rhodesian Camo in the woods.

You need to get down to Apoc and see some of the guys there as a couple of the walk ons have some nice automags!
