hi ppl ,just wondering if any 1 has ideas wats wrong with my cocker, its a o4 cocker(i think)with zero b fitted, bought it off here about a year ago,it was never quite right so last may it had a serivced at planet and everything was fine, but last sunday at armageddon it was farting like a bitch lol, with no air on it seams to be ok,when i gas it up and turn the eyes off again it seams all right, but i put paint though it fires a couple of times and then spits about 4 balls out at once, and they travel about 6 foot,so i cleaned it out and tryed to clean the eyes with a cotton bud,but still does the same,do u think the eyes r knacked or could it be something else thanks rob

yeah just give the detent a check i had an 04, not electric though, the detent seems simple enough just a ball on a spring, push it down with your finger and it should bounce out again when you let go, if it's really easy to do then it might be letting balls roll past too easily

If its farting, then the hammer isn't opening the valve fully.
It will be cycling the bolt, which will load balls but not fire them.

With no paint in the gun, eyes off, gas it up and fire it.
Obviously it should go bang bang as normal, but I suspect it wont.

Remember that the weather is much colder now, and things don't like that.

Degas it and take the barrel off.

Try and fire off any air in the gun, if needs be push the cocking rod in so it lets the air out of the valve.

Pull the cocking block back, and put a drop or two of oil on the ram shaft and work it back and forth to lubricate the ram o-rings.

Put a drop or two (literally) in the Macro line through the ASA.

Gas it back up, eyes off and fir it off. NO BARREL AS YOU WILL OIL THE BARREL UP!!! BAD!!!

Now, while firing it...gradually tweak the LPR reg on the front of the gun, up.

This will increase the pressure cocking the gun and hopefully, remove the problem.

Dont go too far.

Make sure the gun is in Factory FAST.

Change battery etc.

You could also try manually cocking the gun, with gun on air off, eyes off.

It should release the hammer every time.

So, yeah. Check/change battery First and try with air.
Check you are in factory fast.

Then start at the top of my post.

Let us know what occurs.

and the second question were u said about 1 or 2 drops of oil in the asa, will it really matter if i put about 6 drops in it:(,cos thats wat i usally do

but thanks anyway and ill try the reg solution first
