cocker help

my cocker is doulble baling(detent i asumume) but is makinng some weird high pitch poping noises as well
please help

Where is the "wierd popping noise" coming from? when was it last serviced? and how old is the front end? have a look on PaintballRavi.com and you may get more info their (thats Ravi Chopra's home page) its got sh1t loads of info on Cockers.

Has it been timed lately?
Have you got gas in the bottle?
Is the bolt in the right way up?
Have you cleaned the reg lately?
Have you tried screwing the detent in a little further....or even replacing it?


Check each of those

double balling is probably summut to do with the anti double ball, but dodgy noises, (high pitched farts) is probably the timeing is off or the bolt is in upside down...or summut is trapped in the valve....most likely the timeing......get someone to look at or try timing it yourself...shouldnt be to hard to find an info site on the web

the marker has been serviced+timed by belsales
but i was using old/**** paint when the popping noises started(when trying to fire quickly) could this be it as it seemed to clear itself when shooting slower

My team mates was doing this, did you have any breaks before that, cos he broke a few balls, then in his bunker he was pointing up and the paint ended up going down the bolt.....just rinsed it out nder water and it was working again....also, are you on co2?

the bolt is clean,i am using co2,the detent seems to be working(not quite sure) so ill buy the eclipse anyway

It sounds like it needs timing, but what reg are you using?

Try turning it up until it fires perfectly without the noises....and fire as fast as you can to test it.
