I have been running my BM on co2 for a while now (couldnt afford nitro), and it was shooting ok. Inconsisten but functioning. I finally got n2, but the problem was that after chroning it in, the pressure dropped down to around 120 fps after a few shots... after a few minutes it goes back to normal, but then drops again after a few shots...any ideas why it does this? Everything on the gun is still stock except for the barrel. Sux that with a new nitro system that it wont work properly, but at least its a consistent 120 fps when it drops

It was shooting OK with CO2 though right? I would hook up the CO2 again just to make sure it still works well on CO2. If it does then it is a problen with the N2 tank. Does the N2 tank have an adjustable output pressure? If so check to make sure that it is set high enough (which depends on the marker, but setting it to 500-600 psi should be a good starting point). If that is not the problem then connect your N2 tank to someone elses marker to see if it works properly.

First of all you should have never been running the thing on co2 to begin with...the reg and solenoid doesn't like that at all. You will now have to clean the insides of both of them and oil the orings and seals, possibly replace a couple of them. That might very well solve all the problems right then and there. There is definately a flow dropoff occuring with your gun somewhere along the pipe. My guess is the front reg. Disassemble, oil it, and reassemble, and try different input pressures, maybe even consider a new reg altogether. MacDev Gladiator is especially good for Bushies in this capacity. Also, if you're using a screw in tank, the pin could be getting depressed too far if you're using an on/off with it. I've run into that one a few times before! :D Just barely have it turned in to where you hear it gas up, no more than a quarter turn past that if even that much. If it's on a bottomline (or donkey as I've heard Brits call it once or twice), the pin inside it may be pushing it in too far and cutting off the flow too much, whereas with your co2 tank the pin in the tank's pin valve was shorter so it wasn't as much of a problem. That can and does happen and is annoying as hell when it does.

All this considered, DON'T EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER go back to co2 again! Go forth and sin no more.

I may not be looking properly, but he say's his gun is a BM. Now he may mean Bushmaster, but he may also mean Black Magic......... that's probably why he said cocker help!!! ;)
