ok its most likely to be eather a stock wgp reg, an ergo or a black magic then......
http://www.moodypaintball.com/pages/tech/ergo.htm
thats a step by step guide to stripping and cleaning an ergo...the black magic is exactly the same but with some fancy milling on the cover.
the standard one is along the same lines and as easy to do.
first take it off the marker......then you are going to need to separate the top cap from the body of the reg, they are threaded on but oftern very tight due to the oring in there, best method ive seen is to take the oring off the top and get hold of it with some grips on the NONE threaded part, dont grip the threads or you will f*ck it up, you may flake a bit of the chrome or anno doing this but dont panic you wont see it when its on the marker!
once that is off look into the reg and you will see a disc part way down with a hole in the top, you need to pull that out, best done with a pick of some sort, sometimes banging into the palm of your hand will do it......when this comes out a pile of washers will come with it....try and keep these in the same order and the same way up as they came out.
you shouldnt really need to take the adjuster out of the bottom as it doesnt affect anything other than the tension on the stack of shims (99% sure)
ok now clean everything inside and out and put it back together and you should be in business.......before reconnecting the air system put a couple of drops of light oil into the input of the reg to lube it all up, it will also lube your marker in the process.
if you get really stuck gimme a shout and ill fetch a spare reg with me at the week end
