Played this weekend and had a bit of a problem, when I was using the freak set I have I kept getting breaks. However when I changed to the standard barrel then no major problems.

Is it normal to have an o ring on the freak back about the thread? Or could it have been the RPS premium I was using?

Did the usual checking that the paint match the insert and even tried larger inserts, wondering if the o ring could be stopping the insert from sitting snuggly again the marker?

Regards,

Or did you simply have the wrong sized insert and were pinching the balls?
If you are getting breaks, go up an insert size and try again, the stock barrel is actually quite large so it won't pinch anything but if you find your breaking balls or they are not shooting accurately and flying erratically then your insert size is too small.
Ps, watch out for oval balls too.....................:D

The way round makes no difference from my experience. I just whack the insert in and shoot people.
The o-ring I think hes on about is a bottle o-ring on the threading, these are here so that your back is easier to get off the marker. The o-rings inside the back hold the insert in place.
Probably down to some poor paint

There are also two o-rings inside the barrel back, which hold the insert in place (about an inch in from either end.) If either of these are missing (they can get pinched out easily when changing inserts) then the insert may not align properly and you end up with breaks halfway down the barrel. They are 018 size, if you need to replace them. The tinest smearing of grease on these o-rings will stop them getting pulled out again.

hmmm just taken a look at the freak back and I am missing one o ring at the marker thread side. Any idea where I can get the correct o ring from? and how on earth do you get the other one it if you want to replace both?
