Cocker efficiency Q

Right... whacking together my spare marker to be used by one of the lads I know just getting into playing. As it is my spare I normally whack my 1.1 4500 air into it and have no problem with running out of air, and to be honest never really took notice of how many shots I was getting out of it per fill.

So I'm now debating buying a 3k 0.8 fixed pressure tank for it so me and my mate can use both my markers at the same time...

Question is will a 3k 0.8 give a reasonable ammount of shots before having to be filled again?

Okay so here is the spec of the marker...

99 STO cocker
Supercharger valve
Ergo reg
Standard STO front end pneus


Anyone able to hazzard a guess based on this?

Seeing as I easily got around 1200 out of an Eclipse back then, working with a 4500/1.1L tank, you could expect around 800 from the same size tank on 3000psi. But since it's a 0.8L tank, I'd hazard a guesstimate of around 580.

Do the math: 1200/3=400. 400*2=800 shots from a 3000psi tank. Now To convert this to 0.8L tank: 800/1.1=727 (roughly). 727*0.8=580 (roughly).

However, these are careful figures, as I squeezed 1200 shots out of that gun, and still had some air left, for maybe one or two more pods... So 800 as above may not be too far off.

i used the average of 1500 shots off a 1.1 as he has reasonable front end and the supercharger valve. so you take 1/3 off for 3kpsi, which makes 1000. and it you called a 1.1l a 1l then a 0.8 would be around 800 shots. so it should be around that. altho it all depends on the front end and how well set up/timed it is:)
