I was playing with my marker during the week trying to work out how best to get it working faster and cleaner.

I noticed my nice new Delrin bolt doesnt move as freely as my old ally bolt, had a quick look at it and realised its covered in milling marks. On the ally bolt I just polished the bolt lots to remove these but I'm not to sure on how to do the Delrin.

Anyone got any suggestions on cleaning and polishing Delrin?

Other question is the back of the bolt on cockers always seem to be large and solid. Any reason for this as thinning it down could dramaticly reduce weight. If I get a new bolt milled with a much thinner rear will I cause problems with my markers cycling?
