Cocker Body Problem I think

Just unpacked my spare 'cocker (old cocker with a WGP hinge-frame attached) and the front screw on the grip frame had come loose. After a few attempts to screw it back in it became clear that it wasn't having any of it.

The front screw simply doesn't engage with the body. I believe this is because the threading has been worn away.

Any ideas as to how I can fix this? Do I need a new body; if so, where can I get hold of a cheap body (a pre-2000 body would be ideal as that is what the current body is)?
If not, then how can I fix it?

TIA

Sounds bad...

Like you said, maybe a longer screw, or you can always get the hole re-tapped.

Or, you can buy a Centre feed body from Belsales for a good price (not the new 2k3 ones).. Speak to DangerousBri (theres that name again).

i had the same thing happen to one of the grip frame screws in my sniper2, i took it to planet and jack sorted it for a tenner i think

putting a longer screw in wont help, that screw is short as it sits right under the valve i think

What sort of price is a vert-feed cocker body + front-block (not the pneumatics, just the block itself)?

Richard
Planet has them listed as £127.65 + VAT but they're out of stock ATM

Kit Includes: Main Body, Back Block, Front Bottle Mount, Semi Block. All Colour Matched.

You can import some nice ones from the US though if you're of a mind
