Good morning boys and girls... I need a little bit of help.

I'm gonna be sending my super gat (eblade autococker) off to get a well deserved anodising. But to do so i will need to strip all the parts, which is not a problem until i get to the body.

On the barrel end of the body there is a part that sticks out called the ASA (air system adapter.. i think). After removing the inline reg from this part i can see a dodgy bolt type thing, and I cant for the life of me find a tool that will get it out.

So this is where you guys come in... I need to know what tool i need to get to remove this part. Or I need a crafty method that will get it out. either way i need it out and preferably in one piece.

Cheers peeps

Hey, i think the part you're reffering to is the FRM (front reg mount). I can't exactly remember what the name of the bolt that holds it on is, but you'll need a star wrench to get it off. Ask where you're sending the body to if they can just quickly remove it before they anno it.

I assume the "dodgy bolt thing" has lots of little teeth all the way around the bolt?

when're you sending this off? since i've got many different types of allen wrenches, and also ones that have strange/dodgy ;) heads and thingies... if you're at the fb2 or the 10-man... can sort it out then :D

yeah its got many sides lol... and if you could remove it at one of the next events that would be cool. Though if i could find out which thing i need i can get one and remove it and put it on again whenever i like. =)

Just incase i get another similar situation. I'll look for a star wrench and take the body to B&Q or something... i'll let you know if i got lucky or not

the valve removal tool is for taking the valve lock nut out of the bottom (valve) chamber of the marker

to remove the ASA you need a 12 sided socket but i have never been able to source one.

i thought i already said, it IS a 12 sided screw, it's probably black, and needs a 12 sided screw driver to remove, or a pair of pliers + an iron grip!
