what does the pin valve do? turn off the co2 in the tank? ive never know what it did.... also, how do you take a tank out of your gun so it doesnt lose all the air?

The pin valve basically keeps the co2 from escaping until it is depressed at which point the pin moves back allowing the co2 in the tank to flow around it and into your gun. If you want to remove your tank without losing a lot of air simply unscrew a little and then start shooting as you unscrew the rest of the way (this takes a little pratice).

Yeah, it does take some practice. I just did it for the first time yesterday and I think I just about emptied the tank. Hehehe, oh well, practice makes perfect.
