as far as i know CO2 does not degrade so the length of time that the gas will last u will depend upon how good/tight the seals are in your CO2 bottle.
i have never had a problem with using a CO2 bottle from one week to the next without having to top it up.
Most sites would fill your bottle for you otherwise BOC can provide you with a 42kg bottle of liquid CO2 for around £5 a month on a contract. Each refill will cost you about £17. You get an awful lot of 20oz bottles out of 42kg!!

How long is a piece of string? :D
How big is the bottle? Does it have an anti-syphon tube? What marker do you use? Does it have an expansion chamber or in-line regulator? What's the temprature? The altitude? How much paint do you use?
All of this affects how long the gas will last. Generally, a 12 oz tank lasts about 600 rounds but it varies a great deal

I wouldn't advise using a paintball marker anywhere other than at a paintball field. Anywhere else is just not safe. Also, using a marker outside might draw unwanted police attention. Most people would just see a gun.

right

BOC are just one of many suppliers , i get mine from Air Supplies, if u look in the yellow pages there will be a supplier listed locally.

the size of the cylinder makes very little difference to the price of the "refill". to double the size of the bottle being refilled would only take the price from 17 to £20 so its really more about convenience of the bottle size

most co2 used at pubs for the pumps is vapor take off not liquid. this does work but is hard work to fill (need to hold the bottle upside down) and you never get as much in. it does if u are really desperate though. If u are going to get ur on bottle make sure that it is LIQUID take off.

hope that helps
