CO2 Air bottles

Hi guys I was wondering if an air bottle running co2 still has to be tested the same as if it was running air. Could do with a quick response please.

i think not beacuse of the pressure envolved, might be wrong thou. also 0.8ltr air tanks only have to be tested once.

Im not really sure, cause even just plain CO2 tanks need to be tested every 4 years or so. So an Air Tank runnin C02, I would assume would need tested still. Its just what I think, I dont really know for sure. Illl try and find out

co2 needs to be tested? is that in the US only? or have i missed somthing here!!

I think it still stands @ every 3 or 5 years (deppending if its fibre wrapped or steel) since its still an air bottle at the end of the day.

I think CO2 bottles have a 10year re teast btw, but I dont use co2 so I may be wrong on that

erk so how come co2 tanks dont have dates on em? i didnt reliase they even needed testing, and if you are running an air tank with co2 in it you have to change the valve so u cant put air in it anymore

i think it is recommended to test every 10 years but they dont enforce it like air bottles

i dont think co2 bottles matter much, most of them are actually DOT anyway if you look
