i've heard from a reliable source that the DYE cleats are designed more for playin on dusty surfaces... e.g. America. there not that much use over here.

I'd agree with Ketchum

From the picks I've seen I would agree that the grips on these babys, no matter how pretty they look, do not look suited to a rainy day in Hull, I looked at them but opted for proper American football cleats, big ass plastic studs with supoprt round the ankles, check out a website in the Uk called firstandten.co.uk or something similar, they have all the Addidas and Reebock gear.

or are you gonna bring them in from across the water?
I am heading back to the good ole USA next week for good, so I will be looking for a pair there. I just can't find them online anywhere?

On most surfaces the DYE Cleats should be just fine - I've tried some and they seemed ok to me.

As for ankle support - over rated in my opinion. On most surfaces presented by organisers now, ankle support isnt required. At worst they are like a badly tended football or rugby field and you dont get ankle support boots for these sports - why is paintball different??

In the woods, however, it is a different matter!! But then I like looking at them - not playing in em!!!

PS Adidas and Nike make great cleats too - order them from the net!!

Thanks Buddha!!

I don't need no education on footwear Marky T.;) I have been through many cleats in my balling days. I just like the way they look and therefore, I want to know where to get them. I don't like studed cleats. They aren't comfortable. I use super traction hicking shoes right now.
