I've thought I'd make a separate thread for this so everyone can see. As I said in the previous, long "Clear loaders" thread, I e-mailed Joern Windler from Millenium Series commitee to check about this banning issue. Here is the "official" reply:

"U can play whatever hopper u like during this season. Thanks for the querstion. Sometimes its good to be reminded. But have in mind: the NPPL is not the MS. :)
So not every of their statements is ours or vice versa. :)

I said in the captains' meeting that they were OK for the time being but that they would PROBABLY become disallowed later. Joern probably thought it fairer to give players one season to change their clear loaders rather than a few months.

We want to come up with better wording concerning "clear" if we go with that rule.

Supply some kind of colour stick, if when placed in the hopper its still orange / pink then you're hopper is a no no.

Refresh my memory, why are clear hoppersa bad thing?
The theory is that clear hoppers make marshalling more difficult. If you have say a hopper full of yellow paintballs and you get shot by paint with a yellow fill it makes it difficult to see :)

Good idea! In fact, as long as players are calling themselves out, we could save tons of money by just not hiring refs at all. I won't cheat if you don't- cool?
