Cleaning solenoid

How often should this be done? I clean bolt+rammer every use and reg every couple of weekends, but have no idea how often one should give the solenoid a wee scrub. I only remembered since mine just started leaking and I realised I'd never cleaned/maintained it

just take off and give it a wipe around the orings relube and put back, easy as that

If you can get access to an air line, this would do it, as when i strip mine down i pop it in to work & give it a good blow job...(no puns)

Yeah I gotta get me a screwdriver tiny enough to get it off the minifold, but I'm pretty confident I can clean it. I was mainly wondering how often I should be doing it, since I'm lazy and want to clean it as little as possible

Erm...do you mean strip it and clean it?

Don't strip it unless it doesn't work.

Wipe it over. Lube the o-rings under the minifold, nip minifold screws up, but not TOO tight.
Its not something you want to be servicing as such.

Usually the case with Noids, dont touch them unless there are broke (im sure it voids any warranty if you remove the Noid)

even if it leaks, i wouldnt advise touching it yourself, is it worth the chance breaking it and having to fork out 50-80 quid for a new one?
