Cleaning products for a paintball marker

Right
I know this May seems little silly but I understand the basic of maintenance of a marker but what would anyone suggest to be used to clean a paintball marker? I have a few ideas but just wanted to get some opinions on this. I have experience in cleaning bodywork of cars and motorbikes to high standard and would assume maintaining the outside paintwork of a marker would be relatively the same? I have many detailing products at my disposal such as detailer sprays, waxes, polishes and non caustic/ soft wash car shampoos.

Warm water, micro fibre cloths and cotton buds. Thats all I've ever used since I started 3 years ago

Nowt abrasive and you'll be fine. Oh and nothing caustic either.

Warm water, micro fiber cloths and cotton buds. I also use a old soft toothbrush too, which i find works really well.

Most of my teammates seem to use the team captain/gun tech. Seems to make any marker much cleaner. But then my ocd is on the increase again.

i also use cigarette filters, although i'm not a smoker i always keep a pack in, i use them to clean my marker, glasses, gun sights & camera lenses
