Just bought an eclipse holdall kit bag... It's in good nick but needs a good clean!

Does anyone have any tips for cleaning the outside? If not then it's going to be a load of warm soapy water and a sponge!

Maybe putting it inside a pillow case then in the washing machine, Thats what I always do with my trainers and they always come out clean and un-damaged.

Scrub it gently with a detergent and warm water mix or a cheap car interior upholstery cleaner then hose it to rinse. It's a paintball kit bag, designed to be dragged across fields and car parks, through airport terminals etc. a little bit of water won't do it any harm at all. Just make sure it dries out really well, stuff it with newspaper once you're finished, towel off the excess from the outside and leave it near a good hot radiator.

failing that, throw it in the bath.

Just had a thought, my Fiancee's dad just got one of those steam mop things might give it a bash with that!

Cheers for everyone's advice! Will let you know how I get on!
