Clay Pigeon Shooting

Tis my birthday on the 21st, and fancy giving this a bash, anyone know of anywhere in Yorkshire (west Yorkshire would be better) that's decent, and not stupidly priced.

I know there is some guys on here that shoot, so best to listen to them before booking anywhere.

ive always fancied doing this myself, just never got round to it, so if anyone knows anywhere in northeast - cleveland area, much appreciated it.

Ive been rabbit hunting numerous times but never shot at clays yet

I gave Clay shooting up 20 years, when it got silly expensive, then took Paintball up, and its been silly expensive ever since !!

I would probably be driving a DB9 by now, if I'd saved ALL my moohlah !!!

But then again, I would'nt of had the fun I've had over 20 years.

Clay Pigeon shootin is good, but it takes some gettin used to. Don't think that because you can shoot a paintball gun, at a torni, them little bugga's go at such a rate, its really daft, especially if you're gonna be shootin SKEET !

I always found clay pigeon shooting pretty cheap, but maybe it was because I mainly went on trips with the Uni. Usually cost us 20 quid for the morning for 50 clays (10 clays at 5 stands) and that may have even included transport. Was only a small amount more to increase the number of clays.

What's the going rate at clubs nowadays?
