Is it my imagination, or do the working classes make better paintball players (and sportsmen)? You know, we've got the necessary drive to win, the steely grit, whereas the middle classes are all students.... and we know what that means: hey up, backs to the wall.

Not being a Brit

and not being trapped by my caste I hardly feel qualified to reply but that's never stopped me before.
If what you suggest is true it portends even darker days for Brit ballers, doesn't it? After all, over here the ground is thick with teenagers playing weekly and accoutred with $1,000 markers that Mommy and Daddy seemingly have no qualms in purchasing. Perhaps not only do we have a larger and ever growing player base we also have an economic advantage to boot, lower prices in general without all those extra nasty taxes and more discretionary income across a broader spectrum of society.
Guess y'all are screwed.

Anyway it's the Middle-Classes who dominate paintball because they're the socio-economic group who can afford to play it seriously

Besides, many people who still call themselves "working class" are simply deluding themselves. Class is more determined by income not background

Income and the job you have does determine class, if you don't think so you're deluding yourself or have a 19th Century idea of society

Calling me a Tory is a serious freaking insult btw. I'm a philosophical and political liberal and I've actually campaigned and stood for election for the Liberal Democratic Party in the past (both my parents are working-class Socialists by the way)
