Claims?

Ok we are all more or less aware of what we "think" Smart Parts is doing with these various patent claims. However perhaps they do have a sense of humour as they have used the "we have a patent on that, too" on the ad page 62/63 current PGI.
....but since when could Dynasty be called Triple Crown Champions AND be associated to being that way because of Smart Parts...is this another claim of using anothers products to now claim as theirs?

It's SP arrogance that I have most problem with, regardles of the dubious treatment of their patent issue.

So SP trying to take credit for Dynasty's success is just a perfect example of the kind of company they are although I haven't seen the full ad to see if it's tounge in cheek or not.

The quoted line about the patent things IS tongue in cheek but not the other part...wait until you see the ad and then you will see what I am talking about....seems not that many people have the current issue as yet, I buy mine from WHSmiths so I can't understand why the subscribers haven't all got theirs yet

From what you say, if they said "now we have a patent on that too" it probably wouldn't bug me as much.

Lighten up, boyz. Isn't "advertising" synonymous with "let me lie to you with utter sincerity, perhaps a bit of humor or charm so you'll buy some crap you don't really need"?

And how many threads have there been about the marker making the player or vice versa? Isn't the usual consensus that it's primarily the player? In which case every advert that tells you what gun some trendy PB hero shoots is nothing but a ploy. Why then is one guy's ploy any different than the next?

Not that I'm defending SP you understand.

Well, the ad made me chuckle. Lets see if any one tries to infringe their copyright on WINNING, damn I think I just did. Please dont take me to court SP.

I thought it was a bit lame to be honest.

SP saying hey look at us we can laugh at the fact that we are a complete load of ****s ha ha very funny.

Its a bit weak running an advert about a team which won alot of tourneys using another companies kit.

Maybe Dynasty will have lost so much karma by selling out to SP that they wont win anymore...........naa doubt it.
